  1. How could I forget Mr. Bean!? Rowan Atkinson is excellent, a very funny individual.
  2. Do you follow any actors, actresses, or tv personalities on Twitter? Post their accounts here so we can follow too! @WilliamShatner @colin_hanks @donttrythis (Adam Savage from Mythbusters)
  3. Added a poll for you.
  4. Just caught an episode of Gunsmoke guest starring Victor French, William Katt, and Nick Nolte. It was called the The Tarnished Badge. It's an excellent episode, I've seen it before. Victor French plays a sheriff who rules his little town with an iron fist, total control freak. The town lives in fear of him and when Marshall Dillon comes to town, the townsfolk ask him to enforce the towns' decision to remove the sheriff. The sheriff doesn't appreciate this and comes back to wreak havoc on the town, including killing the new sheriff, a newlywed. I won't spoil the rest of the episode, but you should catch it!
  5. "I am PROUD of my willingness to lubricate myself for the cause of justice!" ROFLMAO. "Hey, grasshopper, here's an insight. Sometimes criminals LIE." "You give that computer machine a biscuit for me." "Crime is like a woman. When she needs your attention, you gotta pull your gun out and..." "If it's worth driving to, it's worth driving to fast."
  6. I recently saw the GI Joe live action movie (Yay, Netflix Free Trial + Wii!). It was entertaining, but it wasn't GI Joe. I'm kind of a stickler for being true to the original, which this wasn't. Still, it was good for free entertainment. LOL.
  7. One of the things that really adds to the show The Good Guys is the music. They have simply the best soundtrack I've heard on television, with greats from The Allman Brothers, The Who, Foghat, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy, CCR, Foreigner, Steppenwolf, and more. As I'm going through the episodes, I'll try to post as complete a list of tunes featured in the show that I can.
  8. "ACLU? What the hell's that? One of those girly little cars you gotta plug in?" "I'm sorry you screamed like a girl when I shot you with my toy plastic gun." "Only those who fear the truth need a lawyer. The righteous do not pay by the hour." "You always have an escape hatch in your bedroom, Jack-o. It's a lesson of love."
  9. Post links to your favorite fan fiction stories here.
  10. Ok, since becoming addicted to The Good Guys, gotta add Det. Dan Stark to my list.
  11. "Let's bust some punks!" "Sounds to me like quid pro, no quo. I want my quo." "That SHIRT is egregious." "It's not a toy! It's an orange gun!" "This may be the week I get kicked off the force." "S'natural." "I don't need my eyes to bust a punk. The only sense I need is my cop sense." "Spicy! Spicy in my eyes!" "This smells crimey."/"Yeah, boxes full of crime." "I tell ya, if there's anything I hate more than a thief, it's running." "My shirt's undergoing some minor repairs. Sauce-related repairs." "How am I supposed to keep you in the loop? Half the time I don't even know what I'm gonna do?" "We gotta get some medicine for the computer machine!" "I may fail you. It's too early to tell." "What the hell kind of jukebox doesn't have Foghat?" "After she took your manhood, where did she put it? Did she put it in a jar or something?" "I've realized that when I break the rules, I not only put myself in danger, but I put the people I care about in danger. It's worth it, because that's what makes me a great cop." "A sandwich without meat isn't a sandwich, it's just lonely bread." "The only time a man should go to a hospital is when he's been shot. And I'm not talking about the leg or the shoulder or something you can fix with duct tape."

  13. We have a couple of Maverick and Hogan fans on this site. They're great characters.
  14. I love this episode. This time of year, I always think of this episode. One of the best holiday tv episodes, IMHO.
  15. Here's a piece of trivia for you! One of the Sanford & Son characters is named Grady Wilson. But did you know that the actor that played Lamont Sanford was named Grady Wilson? He was credited as Demond Wilson, but his full name is Grady Demond Wilson. Also, Redd Foxx's real name is John Sanford. His brother's name is Fred Sanford.
  16. Who's your favorite character on Cheers?
  17. We've change our look. We're still tweaking the colors a bit. Let us know what you think!
  18. I watch King of Queens fairly frequently (reruns in syndication) and Arthur Spooner is just one of those characters that I have a love/hate relationship with. He's irritating, he's overbearing, he's crazy, he's annoying, but he's also a screw up, a misfit, a little naive, and vulnerable. It's the vulnerability that makes him likable despite all his annoying qualities.
  19. The purpose of this site is to provide a community for fans to read about and discuss their favorite tv shows and actors. To keep your experience here pleasant, we have a few simple rules we would like everyone to follow. 1. If you are here only to draw attention to your own site and have no intention of participating in discussion, forget it. The forums are for discussion of the shows and actors, not pimping your own site. You can submit your site to our directory and we'll review your site for possible inclusion, but please don't promote your site on our boards. 2. You must earn the right to have signatures and PM privileges here by participating and posting. That lets us know you aren't here to just spam and annoy our members. 3. Once you have signature privileges, please don't abuse them. The maximum size for signature images is 500x100. Images should be tasteful and not flash/gaudy/hideous. Also, if you have text in your signature, please do not have more than 3 lines of text. Following these rules will make the site more readable and aesthetically pleasant. 4. Do not use PM to solicit other members. We will consider it spam and/or harassment. 5. Keep conversations civil. We understand that disagreements sometimes occur when a lot of people get together to discuss things. Please do not make any personal attacks, name call, curse, or harass other members. We won't hesitate to suspend or ban members who engage in such behavior. 6. Moderators have the last say in enforcing the rules on this board and keeping the site a pleasant place for our members to visit. Please do not second guess or condemn their actions publicly. If you have a problem with a moderator, please PM them or me (TVFan) and we will discuss things privately. We're reasonable and want to reach the best possible outcome for all our members. 7. For your own safety, please refrain from posting personal information (phone numbers, addresses, etc). You never know who might be watching. 8. No offensive, hateful, illegal, or pornographic material may be posted. 9. Please do not post in all caps. It's annoying... really annoying. 10. Try not to stray too far from the topic being discussed. It's only natural that sometimes discussions get sidetracked, but please don't purposely try to sidetrack topics. We reserve the right to amend these rules on occasion as the need arises.
  20. "Oh, just one more thing..." I forgot Columbo and Maverick. LOL.
  21. Stephen J. Cannell was responsible for producing and writing some of my favorite tv shows of all time. In the 80's, I probably watched one of his shows at least 3 or 4 times a week, either in first run or syndication. Two of my favorites were The Greatest American Hero and Rockford Files. I also enjoyed A-Team, Hardcastle & McCormick, Riptide, Black Sheep Squadron (aka Baa Baa Black Sheep), and The Commish. It's sad to think he will no longer be producing great new shows to entertain us, but he left quite a legacy that continues to entertain us and new generations of fans.
  22. I used to be a huge Cheers fan when it originally aired. Recently, I found it playing on the Hallmark Channel. It's on very late, but I catch it every once in a while. It's like a little shot of nostalgia.
  23. My favorite tv characters of all time is quite an eclectic mix. Bill Maxwell, Rosco P. Coltrane, Al Calavicci, Dan Fielding, Cliff Clavin, Jim Rockford, Thomas Magnum, Jonathan Quayle Higgins III, Rick Simon, John Steed, Kelly Robinson, Leonard McCoy, and the list goes on and on.
  24. My friends and I have been laughing about these outtakes from a classic commercial featuring Orson Welles. He's obviously drunk. This just never gets old, no matter how many times you watch it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nvxwf1jxdaM
  25. Just wondering how people feel about their beloved 80's cartoons being made into live action movies. The Transformers movies have been decent, but I wish the transformers looked more like the originals. I haven't seen the GI Joe movie yet, so I can't comment on that.
