  1. [video=youtube;7dvWwUT-mfc] There's a murder. It was poison! Take him down to Quincy. He will cut him open. He will know what killed him instantly. He works with a Japanese guy Who looks in the microscope a lot. Watch those cops pass out! He used to be Oscar. He lived with Felix Unger. I think he was best on Twilight Zone. In the Quincy theme song there's this really cool jazz part. Here it comes! Quincy is just ending. But, oh boy, the show on next is Barnaby Jones!
  2. With Steve Carell’s upcoming departure from “The Office”, NBC writers are hard at work devising a way to replace the popular character of Michael Scott. The upcoming season will highlight one character each episode and the second half of the season will be devoted to Michael Scott’s upcoming departure. A string of celebrity guests is also planned. There are several ideas on the table about who will succeed Scott as manager, but nothing has of yet been decided. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20100910/tv_nm/us_office
  3. I was watching an episode of Murder, She Wrote tonight and was wondering what Angela Lansbury has been up to lately. Well, it appears she's been on Broadway, just finishing a run in "A Little Night Music". Have you wondered what some of your favorite stars have been up to lately? Post about them here and we'll try to find out!
  4. I was watching an episode of A-Team the other night and I noticed the plot seemed awfully familiar. I quickly realized that it was a plot borrowed from The Greatest American Hero (sans magic jammies, of course). I did some checking and it was in fact written by the same writer that wrote the TGAH episode. It made me wonder just how many scripts were recycled across different shows and how many times some of the scripts were recycled. LOL.
  5. Murder, She Wrote is currently playing on Hallmark Movie channel at 10pm in our area. It's been fun catching up with Jessica again.
  6. I could watch Hit Car about 2 dozen times... Oh wait! I have! LOL.
  7. Ok, gotta do it. Gotta have a poll for favorite Greatest American Hero episode! You can vote for as many of your favorites at once, but once you submit your votes, you can't vote again.
  8. Retro TV Network had another programming change in our area. Magnum PI and Simon and Simon have been replaced with Knight Rider and Alfred Hitchcock Hour. Sorry, Michael Knight, but I miss Magnum. And Alfred, I love ya, but I've seen you over and over and over. I miss the Simons too... especially Rick.
  9. At first, I wasn't too thrilled with the new doctor, but he's grown on me. I like him. Though, I still miss David Tennant. How do the rest of you Doctor Who fans feel?
  10. I don't know why I avoided this show for so long. It's freakin' hilarious and so off the wall. We've been watching the re-runs on TBS and on Hulu.
  11. Well, The A-Team opens today. If you see it, please post about it here. I'm kinda torn. I have never seen a tv show successfully turned into a good movie. They never seem to be quite true to the original.
  12. The new A-Team movie is slated to be released on June 11, 2010. Given the string of remakes of old tv shows and how horrible they turned out, I'm a little leery of this movie. They're updating the storyline a bit, they're Iraq war vets instead of Vietnam vets. Here's the cast based on the latest from IMDB. John "Hannibal" Smith: Liam Neeson Templeton "Faceman" Peck: Bradley Cooper "Howling Mad" Murdock: Sharlto Copley Bosco "B.A." Baracus: Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson
  13. And of course, there's the classic Monty Python/Star Trek mashup to the tune of Camelot...
  14. Loooooooove, exciting and new Come aboard, we're expecting you! This is a great mashup of Star Trek TNG and the Love Boat. I love that they put Charo in there! ROFL. Awesome.
  15. I found this great spoof on YouTube with the Three Stooges as the A-Team. If you find a great A-Team spoof, just post the URL here for everyone else to check out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14_L6rWPavA
  16. A friend of mine recently saw Family Guy's Something Something Dark Side and was remarking on the Juicy Fruit commercial. I knew exactly which one, as I had seen it growing up. Lo and behold, I found this on YouTube. I love YouTube. The original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFr3oapzGc8 And side by side:
  17. Which Battlestar Galactica version do you prefer, old or new, and why?
  18. Yesterday, I ran across some great videos put together by people with way too much time on their hands. They were classic tv intros redone with scenes from Star Wars. Classic! Here are some of them: Magnum, p.i./Han Solo, p.i. Macgyver Airwolf Dallas
  19. For you, lieutenant, anything!
  20. It's long been rumored that there is a Hogan's Heroes movie in the works. The only news I've been able to dig up is this article about a possible Hogan's Heroes movie with Russell Crowe from 2001. Apparently, before Crowe, Mel Gibson was slated to do the movie, but it looks like for now the possible remake is in Hollywood limbo. If anybody out there has any new or better info, feel free to share with us!
  21. Wow... Sounds like the "terror" in the title doesn't necessarily refer to the monster!
  22. There used to be a show called Junkyard Wars on which two teams would be set loose in a junkyard to find what they could to piece together some device to conform to whatever particular goal was given to them. For example, one episode had them building dragsters to race in. I seriously think the A-Team would've kicked ass in this show, hypothetically (and fictionally) speaking. Every episode they were always building some sort of contraption, usually some kind of armored vehicle to break into (or out of) wherever they had to go. Not only that, but they did it in a kick-ass musical montage lasting only a few minutes. Any of you A-Team fans out there have any particular favorites of these musical montage builds? LOL.
  23. Two of my favorite myths tackled in Mythbusters was the washing machine one. I laugh my ass off every time I see that dummy spinning around. I also enjoyed the walking on water myth. Seeing Adam flop face forward into the pool gave me a good belly laugh too.
  24. Bahahahaha! I just thought of something. What if they did that to the Monkees DVDs. ROFL. I know they won't, but man.. it just seems that absurd.
  25. ARGH!!! I just heard they did this to WKRP too! Do you know how many songs they'd have to replace? It's a friggin' radio station! I bet they butchered the show. I guess I'll just have to either wait til they come to their senses and they offer an unedited version on dvd or I'll record it off tv if I ever find it running on any channel. Can they throw us avid tv fans a friggin' bone here?
