TVYesteryear Posted June 4, 2012 Share Posted June 4, 2012 I love comics and paperbacks based on my favorite tv shows, especially if the show is no longer running. It's sort of like adding another season. But the question is, should such comics and paperbacks be considered canon? It certainly is tempting to consider them as such. I especially like to lump the Innovation Lost In Space comics in as canon because a good chunk of them were written by Bill Mumy. They took the story places the show couldn't or wouldn't go and I can't help but wish they'd done similar story lines in the tv series. The comics were also a bit more serious, returning my favorite character, Dr. Zachary Smith, to the more competent, smart character he was at the beginning of the show. So, the question is...
