Batman fans have gotten some nice surprises in the past year or so, what with the release of the retro 1:4 scale Batman action figures from the 1960's series. Well, the best of them all was just announced. Warner Home Video has confirmed that they will be releasing the 1960's Batman series starring Adam West and Burt Ward sometime in 2014. Fans have had to wait a long time for this release because its fate has been mired for years in legal battles. A licensing deal was finally reached in 2012 between Warner Brothers and Fox. Seeing as this year marks the 75th anniversary of the caped crime fighter, it's perfect timing. Not many details have been released yet, but some clues suggest that it will be made available on blu-ray in addition to DVD.
Batman is currently being shown on the Me-TV Network on Saturdays at 7pm.
