They have simply the best soundtrack I've heard on television, with greats from The Allman Brothers, The Who, Foghat, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy, CCR, Foreigner, Steppenwolf, and more.

As I'm going through the episodes, I'll try to post as complete a list of tunes featured in the show that I can.

He's visiting moonshiners in Dawsonville Georgia, the Emily Post Institute to learn some manners, and the frog jumping contest in Calaveras County, California. This show might join my regular viewing list.

I learned that some of those shine runners could haul 30 jugs of shine at 100 mph. Woowhee! Larry got to drive an old shine running car and visited with Bill Elliott of NASCAR fame. They did donuts out in back of Bill's place. Makes me wish we had room to do that here.

I laughed so hard during the Emily Post segment. ROFLMAO. If you didn't catch the premiere tonight, catch the rerun!

They tried to figure out who had them built, if there was any coded message within them, and they dug into some of the beliefs of the Rosicrucians, including mind control. It was pretty interesting. Brad hypothesizes the guidestones were built, during the height of the Cold War, to give guidelines to humanity to rebuild after near annihilation at our own hands. Sounds pretty plausible of all the motives investigated.

NBC Devises Succession Plan for Carrell on The Office

With Steve Carell’s upcoming departure from “The Office”, NBC writers are hard at work devising a way to replace the popular character of Michael Scott. The upcoming season will highlight one character each episode and the second half of the season will be devoted to Michael Scott’s upcoming departure. A string of celebrity guests is also planned. There are several ideas on the table about who will succeed Scott as manager, but nothing has of yet been decided.

One of the Sanford & Son characters is named Grady Wilson. But did you know that the actor that played Lamont Sanford was named Grady Wilson? He was credited as Demond Wilson, but his full name is Grady Demond Wilson.

Also, Redd Foxx's real name is John Sanford. His brother's name is Fred Sanford.

He's irritating, he's overbearing, he's crazy, he's annoying, but he's also a screw up, a misfit, a little naive, and vulnerable. It's the vulnerability that makes him likable despite all his annoying qualities.

Just started watching The Office

I don't know why I avoided this show for so long.
